The Academic Advising and Support Center (AASC) is located on the lower-level of Maryland Hall, in suite 043.  The AASC supports the academic progress of undergraduate students in a variety of ways.  The AASC’s administrators are responsible for the initial registration of first-year students and transfer students.  They also support the core and major advisors who work with students throughout their undergraduate career.

The AASC facilitates the declaration of major process, course registration, and course withdrawal processes.  The AASC’s administrators also monitor academic progress and graduation clearance for seniors.  The AASC develops and maintains degree audits for each student as a tool for course planning and selection.  In addition, guidance is provided for part-time and transfer students, students with learning disabilities, and students on academic probation.
