WISE-L is the discussion list of the European women's studies
network, Women's International Studies Europe (WISE). WISE, a
European feminist studies organization, seeks to promote feminist
critiques of knowledge, and support practices and research which
will improve the quality of women's lives.
WISE-L is a list for all practitioners of women's studies: teachers,
students, scholars, writers, administrators, activists, etc..
It is a forum for information on research projects, funding sources,

and staff exchanges, women's studies program development, European
or national policy issues, and political and theoretical debates
concerning women's studies.
WISE is a European network, open to all women doing women's studies
