Louise A. (Miller) Finn Chief Information Officer BS Business Management – Johns Hopkins University Louise began her career in higher education information technology at Johns Hopkins University where over a period of ten years she created a Computing Center for the Basic Sciences Institute, designed and implemented an enterprise directory for the university, hospital and Applied Physics Lab, consolidated major hospital and university e-mail systems, provided network backbone services for all campuses and served as the university liaison for Internet2. She then spent the next five years as a technology management consultant for several colleges as Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Program/Project Manager while working for CampusWorks Inc. Her role at CampusWorks was to initially perform a technology assessment of the current environment at the college, then collaborate with college leadership to develop a technology strategic plan. These technology strategic planning efforts then resulted in tactical projects for the implementation of; network infrastructure upgrades, security enhancements, identity management, web portal, Enterprise Resource Planning software and instructional technology initiatives including course management systems. Louise also worked closely with each college to develop staff skills in order to take over their new environment. Louise joined Loyola College in July 2007 as the Chief Information Officer and Assistant Vice President of Technology Services. Major initiatives underway @ Loyola:
