- Review current ERP implementation, understand its shortcomings, thoroughly review the alternatives, and propose the most effective solution.
Value and Organizational Implications: - Analyzing alternative approaches will ensure ERP is interoperable with deployed systems
- This initiative will develop increased efficiencies, technical tools to enhance effectiveness, and analytical capacity
Risks: RATING: RED - The ERP system integrates many campus systems and is used by much of the staff, any changes to it will be significant
- If not executed effectively, higher education ERP implementations can result in millions of dollars overspent.
