For the first time in the Baltimore metropolitan area, one institution is offering a truly unique and comprehensive approach to the educational, psychological, and spiritual well-being of our community. That institution is Loyola College in Maryland. The culmination of this integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to well-being is The Loyola Clinical Centers. The geographic diversity of the Centers establishes the Loyola presence throughout the metropolitan region. The name Loyola is synonymous with academic excellence and compassionate community service. The Loyola Clinical Centers are built upon these twin traditions wherein we combine the expertise of internationally recognized scholars and clinicians with deep commitments to community partnership. The mission of the Loyola Clinical Centers is to provide educational and behavioral health services for Baltimore area families and to serve as a platform for clinical service, training, and research for Loyola faculty and students. Specific goals include: - promoting educational success for children throughout the area, with a special emphasis upon outreach to at-risk populations
- providing comprehensive speech and hearing services to adults and children
- supporting and strengthening families through individual and group behavioral health assessment and therapeutic services
- advancing language and literacy development in both adults and children
- collaborating with local agencies and organizations so as to strengthen the community and assist in its development
- providing clinical training and research opportunities for Loyola students
- providing the opportunity for Loyola faculty to make contributions to their community and to their professions
If we can be of service to you or your family, please contact us. Sincerely, The Loyola Clinical Centers |
