08/03/06 -- I have a VERY nice update on the WLOY fundraising for Xavier University.

You may recall that a relative of one of our staff donated $500 in hopes of getting his employer (ExxonMobil) to match it. He even did all the paperwork for us to get that match. We anticipated it being their standard 1:1 match in our total fundraising for Xavier. Well, we just got word back that ExxonMobil matched the donation of it's employee...

ExxonMobil matched it 3:1. This means our total for Xavier exceeded our $10,000 goal!

Final donation with the matching is $10,445.83!
