The Greyhound Student Newspaper

Journalism students looking for prototypical practical experience as reporters, writers, editors, and photographers need look no farther than Loyola College campus newspaper.

Started in 1927, The Greyhound serves as the Loyola College student newspaper. Approximately 3,000 copies of the newspaper are distributed each Tuesday of the academic year at the Evergreen, Timonium and Columbia campuses. The Greyhound primarily covers campus and local news with sections in each issued dedicated to Sports, Arts & Society and Opinion/Editorial views of the student editors.

The Greyhound is written, edited and staffed by a team of Loyola undergraduate students with the help and guidance of its advisor, Dr. Kevin Atticks of the Communication Department.

The newpaper's offices are adjacent to the Evergreen Annual yearbook offices and WLOY radio studios in Bellarmine Hall in Loyola's residential campus.
