WLOY Spring Break Outreach

WLOY Music/Program Director Rich Rodriguez took a portable audio recorder and digital camera to Loyola's 2009 Spring Break Outreach community service project in Biloxi, MS, and came back with a wonderful audio podcast and a slideshow of the experience. Get more info.

Spring Break Outreach is a week-long service experience coordinated by Loyola's Center for Community Service and Justice. Students, faculty and staff meet in small groups before the trip to learn about the host community, discuss service and social justice issues and raise funds for the trip. During the week of community service, participants learn about the history and culture of the region and commit to a simple lifestyle. The podcast and slideshow are Rich's reflection on the trip. Enjoy.
