$4,800 per semester, following a 50 percent stipend and 50 percent scholarship model ($2,400 will automatically go towards tuition, $2,400 will be provided as a stipend).
| | Description | The Technology Technician Assistant's role is to provide a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance of the computing and presentation equipment in the offices, labs and classrooms at the Columbia Graduate Center. This includes training staff and students on the use of existing technology, troubleshooting hardware and software, and maintaining current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and other resources.
| | Qualifications | - Bachelors degree required
- 2 years experience working in a technology related field
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and experience working with students and faculty preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and audio visual equipment
- Familiar with diagnostic utilities
- Must be enrolled in one of Loyola University's graduate programs
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
| | Responsibilities | - Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of computer and presentation technology problems for end-users
- Document incidents that are reported and the resolution details
- Troubleshoot classroom presentation consoles and related hardware, software and peripheral devices in order to deliver required service levels
- Assist professors and students in the use of technology specific devices and software applications
