Purpose: This site features Justice Initiatives at the 28 Jesuit Colleges and Universities in the U.S. History: In October 2000 the 28 universities sent delegations to the Commitment to Justice in Jesuit Higher Education Conference. Since that time the campuses have worked to strengthen the justice tradition that is a hallmark of Jesuit education. Update! Please click the link to view the online version of the 2012 Institutional Examen Publication. This site collects in one place information about notable justice initiatives. Each school has a designated Justice Contact who serves as a liaison between the home campus and the national conversation. Additional information for this web site can be submitted to June Ellis at jellis@loyola.edu. We invite you to visit Living Justice, an independent site that connects people and justice in dynamic conversation. |
