Loyola's Modern Masters Reading Series, sponsored by the writing department and with support from the Center for the Humanities, brings nationally and internationally known writers to Loyola's campus.
Brian Bouldrey has been called “one of our cheeriest bards of sorrow” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. He is the author of three books of nonfiction, including the award-winning Monster: Gay Adventures in American Machismo, and three novels, most recently, The Boom Economy. His novella, The Sorrow of Elves, will be published in November 2010.
