Join AKI director Amy Branum Huggins, CCM artistic director Alyson Shirk, and the boys and girls of the Children's Chorus of Maryland for an exciting day of Kodály Music Education in Action!
In the morning, participants will observe CCM students singing and learning in Kodály-inspired training classes and choral rehearsals. In the afternoon, we will have a question and answer session, followed by Kodály Methodology and Choral Conducting sessions that will provide participants with effective, engaging tools, strategies, and materials for duplicating what they observed during the morning sessions in their own classrooms.
Breakfast and lunch are on us, and everyone will go home with a fabulous collection of kid-tested songs, singing games and activities!
