Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management will host the second International Symposium on Intelligent Decision Technologies (IDT-10) at the Pier V Hotel in Baltimore, Md., July 28 – 29. Organized by KES International, a knowledge transfer organization comprising a community of several thousand research scientists, IDT features high-quality research presentations and workshops for industry researchers.

Topics at IDT-10 will include theory and applications of intelligent decision systems and related areas. The conference will provide opportunities for the presentation of research results and innovations as well as knowledge transfer and generation of new ideas. The conference will feature keynote speakers Jens G. Pohl, Ph.D., executive director of the Collaborative Agent at the Design Research Center at California Polytechnic State University and Gheorghe Tecuci, Ph.D., professor at the Volgenau School of Information Technology and Engineering and director of the Learning Agents Center at George Mason University.

Gloria Phillips-Wren, Ph.D., associate professor of information systems and operations management and academic director of Loyola’s Executive MBA program, is co-chair and will moderate the symposium. Sellinger School Dean Karyl Leggio, Ph.D., will offer the symposium’s welcome address.
