Loyola University Maryland’s six-year undergraduate graduation rate of 86 percent tied for second in the nation among private, master’s level universities, according to federal data recently analyzed by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
The data represent the percentage of full-time, undergraduate students entering in the fall of 2002 who completed their degrees within six years. Loyola’s graduation rate is significantly higher than the median rate of 53 percent for all four-year institutions, and four percentage points higher than the rate the University reported in 2003, the last time these data were collected.
