Minorities interested in the master’s programs in computing at Loyola University Maryland are eligible to compete for fellowships provided by the National Minority STEM Fellowship Program (NMSFP).
The fellowship program is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. NMSFP will provide a stipend of $18,000 per year and tuition support up to $20,500 per year for up to two years. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and should be permanent residents of Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Washington, D.C. Individuals from cultural, racial, geographic, and socio-economic backgrounds that are currently underrepresented in graduate education are encouraged to participate. The application deadline is April 14.
Loyola University Maryland provides high-quality, advanced education in computer science and software engineering. A student’s undergraduate degree does not have to be in a technical discipline to gain entry into the program. Courses are offered in the evening, so that the program can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis.
