Scholars Program

Through the new Scholars Program, outstanding undergraduates who best exemplify Loyola’s ideals of creative thought and rigorous study can take their scholastic explorations to a new level. Complementing the College’s successful Honors Program, which is offered in the humanities and sponsored by the Center for the Humanities, the Scholars Program targets top students in business and the social and natural sciences.

The highly selective Scholars Program provides enriched and more rigorous academic programming. This unique environment facilitates intellectual leadership through upper-level core offerings, one-on-one research opportunities and other challenging learning situations.

The Scholars Program, a key recruiting tool already in place for most other colleges and universities, increases the College’s ability to attract and retain the nation’s best faculty and students. During their time at Loyola, participants develop habits of scholarship as strong as their potential.
