Making A Gift

Opportunities abound for you to support the remaining priorities of Preparing Tomorrow: The Campaign for Loyola College in Maryland. We look forward to working with you to identify a means of giving that suits your needs and interests.

WAYS TO GIVE

  • Cash
Outright gifts along with pledges paid over four to five years on a schedule determined by the donor will enable Loyola to meet its financial obligations.
  • Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Options
Gifts of securities that have appreciated in value and exercisable options for purchasing securities at a discount in the future provide excellent tax advantages for donors.
  • Gifts of Property
Almost any form of property - real estate, personal property, insurance policies and business interests - can provide a suitable charitable gift. Loyola encourages donors considering a gift of property to consult their attorney, accountant, financial advisor and/or the College to ensure that the gift will meet the donor’s intention to support Preparing Tomorrow as well as their own financial interests.
  • Gifts that Provide Life Income
Irrevocable contributions of cash, securities and other property into a number of planned gift arrangements can provide income to a donor and/or a spouse and/or other beneficiaries for a period of time. These types of gifts include: charitable gift annuities pooled income funds, charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts.
  • Bequests
Charitable bequests, through a will or a trust, can reduce the size of a taxable estate and may be helpful in estate planning.  Members of The Jenkins Society share a common vision for Loyola College and choose to realize that vision through planned gifts. Planned giving opportunities are numerous and can be developed in conjunction with the College to benefit all parties involved.

Loyola encourages donors to consult their attorney, accountant, financial advisor and/or the College to ensure that gifts will meet the individual donor’s intentions to support Preparing Tomorrow as well as his or her own financial interests.

Additional opportunities for participation include service to Loyola as an Alumni Campaign volunteer. Click here for additional information about the Alumni Campaign and volunteer leadership opportunities.
