Chordbusters

Twice a year, students anxiously line up to buy tickets to the annual Chordbusters concert, featuring the women’s a capella group, the Belles, and the men’s a capella group, the Chimes.

The concert, which takes place in the 400-seat McManus Theatre, is notoriously unpredictable, featuring short, humorous skits, followed by songs both old and new. The groups, which perform separately, always manage to impress the crowd with their vocals.

In recent years, the Belles and Chimes have begun performing in competitions and recording albums which are then made available for sale to the campus community. They also perform at other campus events throughout the year.
