Precious

  • Class of 2018

  • Major, Minor Accounting, Information Systems

"My favorite thing about Loyola is the willingness for professors and professional staff to provide advice and do everything it takes to ensure you have and take advantage of every opportunity," says Precious, who declared her major after speaking at length with a professor about all of the options she would have as an accounting major with a minor in information systems. Precious plans to obtain her CPA license and gain experience working for an accounting firm after she graduates; her long-term goal is to start her own firm that focuses on cyber security. During her time at Loyola, she has participated in Connections and RoadTrip and numerous retreats. She is also involved with Campus Ministry, where she worked as a social justice intern, organizing the Ignatian Teach-In and leading Soup with Substance, a monthly student discussion about justice and advocacy.

My experiences at Loyola have provided me with the leadership and different perspectives to graduate and exemplify Jesuit ideals in the workplace and my community.
