Welcome to the information systems and operations management department! Technology is critical to the success of any organization, and our graduates hold exciting positions with many top firms, including financial, accounting, consulting, manufacturing, security, aerospace, and defense companies.
An exciting curriculum
Students, working closely with our faculty, develop facility and familiarity with the communication, coordination, and controlling responsibilities of technology capabilities. Our curriculum builds from a broad understanding of the enabling capabilities of information technology through a development of hands-on technical capabilities to a capstone course that applies students’ learning to real-world solutions. We cooperate with SAS, Inc., to award a certificate in business intelligence to students meeting certain requirements.
A close partnership with the business community
The field of information technology yields prestigious internships in Maryland/DC, New York, and in other vital business areas of the Mid-Atlantic. Through our links with the business community you will have the opportunity to interact with executives and professionals from area businesses and organizations. We have an active Advisory Board with technology leaders who advise us on curriculum and community interactions.
An active student group
The Lattanze Student Organization is an independent student group with activities open to the University community related to information technology issues. Our student chapter of Alpha Iota Delta is a national honor society.
Our graduate program offers cutting-edge courses such as knowledge management and security, as well as foundation courses.
As you can tell, we are very enthusiastic about our programs and proud of our students. Please contact us at 410-617-2357 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to have the opportunity to develop your interest in information systems.
