Graduate Programs in Montessori Education/Partner AMI Institutes

Certificate of Advanced Study

The Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Montessori Education consists of 30 graduate credits beyond the Masters of Education. Students take all the Montessori Content courses appropriate to their area of specialization for a total of 27 credits. These courses are taken at the partner AMI institute and comprise the requirements for the AMI diploma. One additional course, Advanced Research Project in Montessori Education (ED627), completes the requirements for the CAS. The student designs and implements a research project under the supervision of a faculty advisor. On-campus residency is not required for this course.
