Commitment to Empowerment

EmpowermentAs a department, we are committed to providing all individuals with the necessary knowledge, credentials, and access they need to become part of a pastoral or clinical team. The pastoral counseling and spiritual care programs have provided graduates with a vast array of lay ministry opportunities within their local churches, synagogues, and places of worship. These opportunities have allowed our graduates to take on leadership roles within their communities. In turn, these positions have allowed our graduates to encourage understanding and use of the helping professions within their own religious affiliations.
