Dr. LeNoir is licensed as a professional clinical counselor in the state of Maryland having worked in private practice for over twenty-five years. He specializes in individual and couples counseling with an emphasis in substance abuse. He has taught on the graduate level for more than ten years such courses as, the helping relationship, human development, counseling theory and practice, family counseling, and courses on domestic violence, addiction, divorce, and leadership. His research interests include the influence of faith on attachment, well-being and leadership. Dr. LeNoir has been a member and secretary of the Sexual Review Board for the Xaverians, Trinitarians, Spiritans, and Josephites since 2005, and a consultant to religious orders throughout the country. Dr. LeNoir is a national speaker on the subjects of leadership, formation, conflict resolution and ongoing professional development in ministry.
Dr. LeNoir, a member of the Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu, is also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and a number of its divisions: the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC), the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC). He has been married for over twenty-five years with two lovely adult children.
