During first half of September	Identify faculty member to read your personal statement and give you advice concerning it. Give that faculty member information sheet concerning personal statements for law school applicants. See overview page
Sept. 26	Submit polished draft of personal statement to prelaw advisor
Last 10 days of September by advance appointment	Meet with prelaw advisor
Immediately following your meeting with the prelaw advisor	Give letter of recommendation form and addressed Loyola envelope to faculty members who will write for you and ask them to submit letters of recommendation to LSDAS
Immediately following your meeting with the prelaw advisor	Finish submitting data to LSDAS
Before applying	Clean up Facebook, MySpace
By the middle of October	Finish law school applications
Two and a half weeks after asking letter writers to submit letters to LSDAS	Check that LSDAS has received your letters of recommendation and, if necessary, follow up with the letter writer(s)

Spring or summer	Register for review course
