Psych Club is a newly-revamped undergraduate organization designed to provide an opportunity for students to be involved with psychology outside of the classroom. This club is for everyone who loves psychology, regardless of class year or experience. Our year-long agenda will reflect the interests and passions of our members. Some possible activities include: volunteering at organizations that cater to the mentally ill, hosting reflection/discussion meetings that could focus on topics like eyewitness testimony, neuropsychology, meditation, or prejudice, and raising awareness of psychological health and wellbeing issues on campus. Psych Club will provide opportunities for hands on experiences for all students and will also participate in events with Psi Chi Honors Society. By becoming a part of Psych Club, students will gain knowledge through participation and focus their interest in psychology toward the community.
