Undergraduate Updates

 Members of the Psych Club spent the day volunteering on March 15, 2014 at Beans and Bread, a homeless shelter and restaurant-style soup kitchen located at St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore. The students all had a wonderful time, sharing great conversations and reflecting on the experience and about the people we were serving in the community. Toth Award

Megan Toth (Undergraduate student) was recently awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in Washington, D.C. The award is composed of four parts: volunteering, physical fitness, personal development, and expedition. Megan participated in crew for four years in high school and won the New York State Championships her senior year, volunteered throughout high school and now college, learned how to Irish step dance, held various summer jobs and traveled to Chappaqua, NY to volunteer for three weeks during high school at Wagon Road Camp for underpriviledged children. The Psychology Student Professional Development Award committee has awarded partial funding for the following undergraduate student professional development endeavors:

  • Undergraduate student, Daniel Koster, for presenting research at the St. Joseph’s Sigma Xi Student Research Symposium
