At Loyola the natural and applied sciences achieves educational excellence by offering and supporting:

  • Undergraduate degree programs in mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, computer science, and engineering (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and materials engineering focuses).
  • Relevant science elective courses, and technical and interdisciplinary minors and areas of studies such as: environmental and sustainability studies minor, forensic studies, actuarial science, and operations research.  
  • General education mathematics and science component including: required introductory courses, Honors seminars, and innovative first-year experience courses as part of the Messina program.
