Message from the Chair - Why study Chemistry or Biochemistry at Loyola? There are many good reasons: from the quality of our ACS-certified Chemistry degree program, to the excellence of our faculty and to the way Loyola prepares its students for a successful future. Or perhaps because of the small size and friendly atmosphere of the Chemistry Department, where students get to know their faculty members and fellow students in an environment that is supportive yet challenges them to do their best. Or because of the opportunity to work with faculty on multi-year research projects, including over the summer as part of the Hauber Undergraduate Research Program. No matter your background or situation, I invite you to discover what Loyola Chemistry has to offer.
