Love Makes A Family www.lovemakesafamily.org Family Diversity Projects, a non-profit organization, provides four traveling photo-text exhibits: In Our Family (Portraits of all kinds of Family), Love Makes a Family (Portraits of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender People and their Families), Nothing to Hide (Mental Illness in the Family), and Of Many Colors (Portrait of Multiracial Families). Mavin Magazine www.mavin.net Mavin is a foundation that provides viewers numerous resources for and about children from multi-racial backgrounds and trans-racial adoptions. The National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME) www.nameorg.org "Advocates for Educational Equity and Social Justice," NAME is comprised of professional educators and specialists from preschool to higher education and representatives from businesses and communities. The website has a very extensive resource center with links to models of multicultural education, multicultural education lesson plans, surveys, speeches, stories, research, journals, the NAME film festivals, Brown vs. Board of Education, etc. Individuals/groups can apply for membership. NAME also hosts an annual conference on various issues in multicultural education.
