Loyola Engineering Alumnus now a Registered Professional Engineer

Ms. Michelle Goddard, class of 2005, is now a registered professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Maryland.  Certification as a P.E. required (1) an engineering degree from an accredited college or university program, (2) four years of successful engineering practice, (3) a passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and (4) a passing score on the Professional Engineering (PE) exam in her engineering specialty.

Michelle is a mechanical engineer at the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) in Aberdeen, MD.  Recently, she was also one of 111 women recognized by the Career Communications Group and Women of Color magazine as a "Technology Rising Star." Awarded annually, the industry-recognized "Technology Rising Star" award is presented to young, minority women working in the technology arena who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in their workplace and communities.
