Academic Calendar for International Exchange Students
Here is the link to Loyola's academic calendar: Academic Calendar Please note that exchange students are asked to arrive at Loyola on the Wednesday prior to the start of classes. Students flying into BWI Airport, arriving at Baltimore's Penn Station (train) or a Baltimore bus station on the official arrival date will be met by Loyola's transportation. Orientation for exchange students will run from Thursday-Saturday prior to classes starting. Students must arrive the Wednesday prior to the start of classes in order to be present for the full orientation program. Fall 2011 Semester | April 1, 2011 | Applications due for Fall'11 and full academic year | | June 17 | Fall '11 Acceptance Letters and I-20 visa documents mailed (if application is complete by April 1st) | | August 31, 2011 | Report date for Exchange Students for fall semester | September 1-3 | International Student Orientation | | September 5 | Labor Day Holiday, University Closed | | September 6 | Classes Begin | | September 6 - 9 | Drop/Add Period - Late Registration | | October 1, 2011 | Applications Due for Spring '12 semester | | October 14 | Undergraduate Holiday, No Classes | | November 11 | Last day to withdraw from a course with a grade of "W" | | November 23-27 | Thanksgiving Holiday, No Classes | | November 28 | Classes Resume | | December 2 | Spring '12 Acceptance Letters and I-20 visa documents mailed (if application is complete by October 1st) | | December 9 | Last day of classes for Fall semester | | December 12-20 | Exams (no exams on Sundays) | | December 21 | Close of Fall semester.
