Latin American and Latino Studies minor received a William Jefferson Clinton scholarship to study in Dubai this past summer.

VictoriaBesides Spanish, Victoria has also studied Portuguese and Arabic at Loyola, the latter of these two languages enabling her to get the prestigious William Jefferson Clinton scholarship to study in the Middle East. In Dubai, she met people from many of the Arab-speaking countries and studied Middle Eastern Cultural Studies. Victoria was no stranger to study abroad, having already spent a semester in Alcalá de Henares, in Spain. Now that she is back on campus, she has decided to add to her Spanish major and her minor in Latin American and Latino Studies an additional minor, Business. After graduating from Loyola, Victoria plans on getting involved with the Peace Corps or developing a business model for a tourist-centered business on Cape Cod. Being tri-lingual with experience and knowledge in three regions, Spain, Latin America, and the Middle East, we have no doubt she will be a great asset to the Peace Corps or the business plan she is developing.
