Graduate Program in Liberal Studies

Scholarships

The Catholic School Educator Program is a special scholarship program for graduate students in Liberal Studies who are faculty or administrators in Baltimore area Catholic schools.

Since January 2002, as many as three scholarships have been available each semester to students or administrators who are recommended by the local school administrator and who have been accepted in the program. Scholarship recipients will be selected according to several criteria, including academic merit and demonstrated financial need.

These scholarships allow for a remission of up to 50% of the tuition for each Liberal Studies course. Scholarships are awarded each semester on a course basis. The decision of the Scholarships committee is final. Re-application must be made for each subsequent course, and renewal is not automatic. Students new to the program must schedule a personal interview with the program director as part of the scholarship application process, in order to be included in the candidate pool.
