Biography
Dr. Kari O’Grady received her doctorate in counseling psychology from Brigham Young University and has research interests in psychological and spiritual integration in counseling, pastoral care, and community trauma.  Her research and outreach focuses on resilience in individuals, teams, organizations, communities, and nations. Dr. O'Grady and the students in her research lab have studied cosmology episodes of populations from around the globe.  She has written several articles, book chapters, and a book and presented at numerous national and international conferences on the topic.   Dr. O'Grady is also involved in interfaith community trauma response in the Washington DC area. She teaches courses in multicultural counseling, crisis intervention, and research methods.
