Pre-Health Program

Loyola’s Pre-Health program prepares students for professional study in the health fields, including the medical, dental and veterinary professions. The program is completed in conjunction with the student’s major and not as its own degree program. Many Pre-Health participants are science majors, but non-science fields are also acceptable.

With the help of the Pre-Health advisor, Dr. Bradley Levin, and their individual faculty advisers, students map out their course schedule to ensure they fulfill all professional school admission requirements. The applicant can easily fit those requirements into their traditional undergraduate courses of study, if started early in their college career.

Loyola’s medical, dental and veterinary school acceptance rates typically exceed the national average. For more information on the program, explore this site or contact Pre-Health Advisor Dr. Bradley Levin.
