Deans' Symposium to be held March 23

Deans' Symposium

The 13th annual Deans' Symposium will be held on Friday, March 19 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the 4th Floor Program Room of The Andrew White Student Center.

Sponsored by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Deans' Symposium spotlights the work of outstanding Loyola faculty, allowing the speakers to share their research with other faculty and administrators. 

Selected by the Dean of their respective schools, these faculty members represent Loyola's high standards of intellectual achievement.

This year's chosen speakers are:


John D. Burger, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Economics
Sellinger School of Business and Management

Leslie Zarker Morgan, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Chair
of Modern Languages and Literatures
Loyola College (Arts and Sciences)

Cheryl Moore-Thomas, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Education Specialties
School of Education



This event will also feature the presentation of The Faculty Award for Excellence in Service-Learning and The Harry W. Rodgers, III, Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award.
