This is the culminating event for winter graduates of the Greyhound Battalion. The ceremony will take place in the 4th Floor Programming Room at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a reception. The Greyhound Battalion will conduct Field Training Exercises at Camp Baker, MD to enhance their tactics and techniques in Field Craft Basics, Squad Movement Operations, Infantry Battle Drills, and Land Navigation. The Greyhound Battalion will conduct Field Training Exercises at Lauderick Creek, MD in conjunction with five other ROTC programs from the area. The joint FTX is a chance for ROTC juniors, or MSIIIs, to further improve their tactics and techniques in preparation for the Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC). LDAC is a mandatory summer training event at Fort Lewis, WA, typically attended following a cadet's junior year. The Greyhound Battalion will conduct the spring physical fitness test to chart their improvements over the recent semester. Four years of hard work and discipline throughout college is not only rewarded with a prestigious degree but also a commission in United States Army as a Second Lieutenant.
