Loyola University Maryland

Army ROTC

Scholarships

Scholarships are available on a highly competitive basis. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and not on financial need.

Basic eligibility requirements for high school scholarship applicants include the following:

  • Between 17 and 26 years of age
  • U.S. citizen
  • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.5
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required written section scores)

Scholarship applications are available to current high school seniors at http://www.goarmy.com/rotc/college-students/four-year-scholarships.html. Click on scholarships on the left side of the page and follow the links to create an online ID. Scholarship deadline is Jan. 10, 2012, but applications are viewed three times between October and March. The earlier the scholarship application is completed, the better the chance an applicant has for an offer.

Current college students interested in trying ROTC and/or competing for a scholarship should contact the ROTC program at 410-617-5179.
