Loyola University has a strong commitment to providing high quality professional graduate programs in the Jesuit tradition, and Loyola's graduate Speech-Language Pathology program, in particular, enjoys strong demand and a long tradition of professional success among alumni. As demand for our programs and graduates has increased, faculty resources needed to cover Loyola's undergraduate, graduate, and post-baccalaureate Speech-Language Pathology coursework have become stretched. Given our commitment to quality and with an eye to the long term needs and resources of our programs, the department has made the decision to discontinue offering the post-baccalaureate foundation coursework. The University's decision to pursue a phase out of this nature is never easy or taken lightly. It is ultimately our commitment to providing excellent, top quality professional graduate education that leads us to take this path.
Students currently enrolled in post-baccalaureate courses will be able to complete their program but we will be unable to offer new courses at this time.
We hope you will consider Loyola University Maryland's Master's Program in Speech-Language Pathology when you have completed the foundation coursework and you are deciding where to apply to graduate school.
