Become a Tutor

Thank you for showing an interest in tutoring with the office of academic affairs for varsity athletics. Here is some information that you will need to know before applying for this position.

Academic Requirements:

Students must have received a B or higher in the course they would like to tutor or received AP credit or passed out of the course. We also hire graduate students. 

Interpersonal Skills:

• Tutors must be reliable, dependable, organized, punctual, friendly and have the ability to work well with others
• Tutors must be dedicated and willing to make a semester-long commitment to tutor with our office
• Tutors must firmly believe in the importance of academic integrity
• Tutors must uphold the privacy of the student-athletes and maintain confidentiality
