Just outside of this small town is a beautiful getaway, a secret place just off the dirt path at the foot of the "End Cagli" sign. The drop is steep. I fumble for firm footholds. The group forges on, following each other like ants, scared to miss a step.

I hear the waterfall before I see it. The powerful force. Water taking the plunge. The mere sound of the falls is not enough. I want to see it. To breathe it. To feel the tiny splashes on my face.

Beyond the green and brown foliage and across a rusty plank is an opening. First, a glimpse of sunlight. Next, the blinding beams reflecting off the murky, olive water. The rocks ascend to unknown heights, shielding this valley of beauty from the outside world. I pause to take it all in. Surrounded by friendly faces, helping hands, and protected by the shadow of the mountains. My eyes brighten at the sight.
