Mission Statement

The Loyola University Counseling Center supports the academic mission of the University by providing student-oriented psychological services and developmental and preventive psycho-educational programs that help students maintain their emotional well-being in order to achieve their educational goals.  It is our aim to help create and maintain a healthy community through relationship building, education, and crisis prevention.  Our mission is inspired by the Jesuit philosophy of promoting life-long learning, development of the whole person, self-reflection, values clarification, and spiritual development in a diverse and changing world.
