Where to Park Yellow
 | Spaces are reserved in these lots for commuters who choose to purchase parking. Hang tags can be purchased in SAS, for $175. Commuters are now allowed to park at the Cathedral. Please keep in mind that while shuttle run here much more frequently, they do not run after 10pm. | Blue
 | This is a faculty and staff parking lot. You can park here after 4pm on week days and anytime on the weekend for free. If you would like to park over night on campus, you can go to SAS and obtain a temporary tag for your car. | Green
 | This is the paid lot on campus. BE CAREFUL when you park here. Parking is $3 for the first hour, $2 for every hour after that, and there is no free 1/2 hour from 8:30-10am and 4-5:30pm. However, parking here is sometime worth your while. At 10pm, the gate on this lot opens and you can leave for free, so if you're planning on staying late, treat yourself to free parking on campus. This lot is also free on Sundays, though spots are sometimes hard to find due to Mass. | Red
 | Parking meters cost $1 an hour and are free after 5pm. If you have a late class or meeting, park here at 4 (while meters are still free), toss in a dollars worth of quarters and you're good for the night. | Milbrook Lane | The side on campus is often hard to find spaces on due to residents leaving their cars there what seems like permanently. Sometimes, if you come on a weekend, or during exams, you may find open spaces there. These spots are free, but be careful, sometimes they block this road off for sporting events and they will tow your car if you forget to move it. The side across from campus is also free to park and there are no time restrictions. However, parking there goes early, so if you aren't on campus by 8/8:30, you may be out of luck. | Charles Street | Parking is available from 10am - 4pm during the week and anytime on weekends. Make sure you move your car, they do ticket and tow regularly. | Old Cold Spring Lane | Next to the reservoir. This is a one way street and parking is all day long. Parking here goes early, so if you aren't on campus by 8/8:30, you may be out of luck. | Cold Spring Lane | The campus side parking is available 10am - 4pm or after 7pm. Be warry because the street is littered with fire hydrants and bus stops where you cannot park. Across the street from campus is available until 4pm, or after 7pm. Parking here goes very early, probably by 7:30am. Be warry because the street is littered with fire hydrants and bus stops where you cannot park. |
Keep in mind whenever you park on the road that there is some danger involved. Always be aware of where you are walking and who is around. If you're walking to your car at night, have a friend who lives on campus walk with you and then drive him or her back to the dorms. Also, cars have been stolen of the road, so take proper safety precautions like locking your car, placing valuables in your trunk, and maybe even buying a lock for the steering wheel.
