Questions and Answers

Q:  Who can I ask to be an advisor?
A: You can ask any member of the College community (Faculty, Staff, or Student)

Q: What are the possible sanctions?
A: Sanctions are situation specific but the standard sanctions for most violations can be found in the Community Standards handbook.

Q: What if I still have questions?
A: You can contact the Office of Student Life at x2488 and receive specific information anytime.

Q: Who has access to my discipline report?
A: The privacy of your record is protected.  Only your parents, legal guardians, and College officials can access your record without your permission under specific conditions.  A signed release is necessary to disclose any information to outside parties.

Q: Does my disciplinary record start over every year?
A: No. Your record is cumulative over the course of your adademic career at Loyola College in Maryland.

Q: What happens if I forgot to complete my sanctions as assigned? Will someone remind me?
A: No one will remind you of your judicial obligations.  The responsibility for their completion is yours alone.  If a student fails to complete their sanctions without prior approval of an extension, they face additional sanctions.
