Items to Bring and Not to Bring

Items you may want to bring:

  • Pillow, sheets (all beds are 80" -extra long), comforter or bedspread, towels, washcloths, etc
  • Bathroom and kitchen cleaning supplies and toilet paper (if you will be living in a suite)
  • Address book, posters, pictures from home, planning calendar, stationary, stamps, bulletin board, thumb tacks
  • Shower bucket for shampoo, shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc
  • Scissors, tape, stapler
  • Flashlight, alarm clock, vacuum cleaner
  • Quarters (for laundry), laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc

Items to discuss with roommates:

  • Stereo
  • TV
  • Bike
  • Computer
  • Storage Trunk
  • Additional Furniture
  • Microwave
  • Refrigerator (if you are living in a double room...rental information will be provided in your housing assignment letter)

Items that you are not to bring:

Prohibited items:

  • Candles
  • hot plates
  • fireworks/firearms
  • electric heaters
  • water beds
  • halogen lamps
  • car

Items you will not need (they are provided for you):

  • Telephones/answering machine
  • shower curtains
  • rugs
  • air conditioners
  • curtains
  • refrigerator (if you are living in a suite)
