CLICK HERE FOR VACANCY LISTINGS (Updated September 18, 2009) Move Week will occur as described below: PULL-IN DAY Monday, September 14, 2009 - 9:00 am to Noon & 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Office of Student Life All rooms with current vacancies and those individuals wanting to make an even switch of rooms may participate during this phase. To register your move, at least one representative of the roommate group and the person being pulled-in, or the individuals wanting to switch places must be present. WITHIN AREA MOVES Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 9:00 am to Noon Office of Student Life All individuals wanting to move into a vacancy within their current residence hall may participate during this phase. Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Space available will be posted by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at your Assistant Director’s office and at the link above. To register your move, please come to the Office of Student Life with at least one representative of the room into which you will move. CAMPUS MOVES Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, September 18, 2009 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon Office of Student Life All individuals wanting to move into a vacancy in a different residence hall, and those who did not move within their residence hall on Wednesday may participate. Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. No preference will be given to those moving within their present residence hall during this phase. To register your move, please come to the Office of Student Life with at least one representative of the room into which you will move. THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO MOVE WEEK - It is your responsibility to meet the people in the room you wish to move into.
- All moves must be registered in the Office of Student Life during the time indicated.
- All moves are to be completed by Monday, September 21, 2009 at 12:00 noon. Failure to do so may result in a $50.00 fine.
A complete move includes: (1) Checking-out with your present RA, turning-in your key to Student Life (Seton 08B) (2) Checking-in with your new RA, picking-up your new key at Student Life (Seton 08B), and signing room inspection form. It is your responsibility to contact the appropriate RAs and/or Assistant Directors to assist in completing your move. First Year Students may move into any Campion Tower Floors 7-9, Flannery O'Connor Hall, Hopkins Court, or Butler/Hammerman spaces only. Room must be occupied by all first year students. Questions about Move Week may be directed to your Assistant Director or the Office of Student Life at x5081. TO HELP MAKE YOUR MOVE A SMOOTH ONE: - Don’t wait until the last minute to tell roommates and other friends that you want to move.
- Talk now to your present roommates!!
- Talk to friends, RAs, or your Assistant Director to obtain information regarding current vacancies or possible swaps.
