What is the Community Service Council? The Community Service Council brings Loyola students and the Baltimore community together through a series of one-time service events on campus. CSC aspires to bring a positive experience of service to all members of the college community so they may experience joy and growth from serving others. Our mission is pretty clear: We are here to serve. But why one-time service? Why the Community Service Council?
CSC is perfect for anyone just looking to get involved. Whether you're new to community service or someone who has been involved in service for a number of years, Loyola's Community Service Council and its range of one-time service events is a great way to fit service into any schedule. Too busy for an ongoing, weekly service commitment? Not a problem - help out at a CSC event for a couple hours on a Saturday. Want to work with many different types of people on diverse programs and initiatives? Join CSC - we host a variety of events throughout the year; events such as the campus blood drives to the Special Olympics to the Halloween Carnival are all handled by the Community Service Council. If you'd like to get involved... - Take a look at our Service Events and Getting Involved pages.
- Come to a CSC meeting. Meetings are held monthly, and a schedule is posted on our home page.
