Sweat pants and shirts, picture books with simple wording, puppets/dolls, self-contained toys such as etch-a-sketch (few parts to be lost in the shelter), hats, mittens, gloves, coloring books and crayons, winter jackets sizes 4-7
Footballs/sports equipment, walkman/discman, gift cards to Targart/Wal-Mart (these are very much appreciated! This way they can pick out cd's or clothes that they want)
Priority items: nintendo Wii games, gift certificates to Target, Wal-Mart, Chili's, TGI Fridays, Applebees, Regal Cinema in Hunt Valley, AMC Theaters in Owings Mills, discman/headphones, small radio/cd players (plug-in kind), small lightweight infant rattles (no cloth/fabric, please), craft projects/art projects, undershirts and underwear, ethnic all-plastic baby dolls.
Items under $5 always in need: infant socks, crayola brand magic markers, crayola brand crayons, coloring books (not holiday themed), poster boards, nail polish/polish remover, pacifiers, easy to hold rattles, infant toy "links", batteries (AAA, AA, C, D), koosh balls, uno cards, hair acessories, chap stick, goop, foam, or shaving cream, school supplies/stickers, personal hygiene products (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush), NO CLOTH/FABRIC TOYS PLEASE
Infant/Toddler: toys, preemie and newborn size clothing, infant clothes (0-3 mos, 3-6 mos, 6-9 mos), toddler size clothing (12 mos-2T), black and white infant toys/materials, music cd's (children's music), DVDs (disney, sesame street, blue's clues, spanish, etc.), Fisher Price vibrating infant seat, cause/effect toys (pop-up toys, musical, v tech, etc.), vibrating teethers, toys with bilnking colored lights and/or music.
School Age/Adolescent: non-violent play station 2, game cube, x-box games (rated everyone)/joysticks/memory cards, arts and crafts supplies (glue, glitter, beads, tissue paper, scissors, paint, fabric paint, pipe clearners, pom-poms, sand, puffy paints, gimp, construction paper, craft sticks, etc.), model kits/sand art, cds (R&B/Top 40), DVDs (rated G, PG, or PG-13), current magazines (teen, sports, cars, video games, etc.), board games (classic games and new), toys (matchbox cars, action figures), purses/wallets, scrapbooks/posters/photo albums, play doh, kites
Adolescent Clothing: white t-shirts/other t-shirts, sweatshirts/sweatpants/workout clothes, pajamas/pants/shirts, boxers/sports bras/socks/underwear, belts, athletic shorts
Large Items: Infant swings, Nintendo Wii Fitness Board
Note: Due to infection control issues, partner agencies can only accept new toys. No stuffed animals, food-related items, or violence-related toys. Due to frequent duplication of donations, please no Candyland, Chutes & Ladders, or VHS videos.
