CCSJ Service Send-off

CCSJ Service Send-off

It is the tradition in the Center for Community Service and Justice to recognize Seniors at the Baccalaureate Mass who have chosen to be involved in post college service experiences. They are recognized through an announcement during the Mass and their names are listed in the Mass program.

The service Send-off reception will follow immediately after Baccalaureate Mass. All Seniors who have served as student leaders, student staff at CCSJ and those who are committing to one or more years of full-time service and their families are invited to the reception.

CCSJ is privileged to host this reception to honor Seniors who choose to live out the Jesuit value of being a “man or woman for and with others” through a full time, year-long or more, service commitment. This reception will also provide an opportunity for students and families to meet and support each other on the journey ahead. We also will have a gift for each Senior.

The Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2013 will be held at 1:30pm in Reitz Arena on Friday, May 17th. The Reception will follow immediately afterward from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the 4th Floor Program Room of the Andrew White Student Center.

If you are a graduating Senior who has committed to a full-time post graduate service program, please register here to be recognized at Baccalaureate Mass and/or if you are graduating CCSJ student staff or immersion leaders, please RSVP in the form as well.

If you have any questions, please contact Malia Maniyatt at ext.2072
