Each fall the Center for Community Service and Justice (CCSJ) partners with the Career Center to invite representatives of non-profit organizations and full-time service programs to campus for a career fair. Every year, more than 30 representatives of the volunteer programs and non-profit organizations participate in this Fair. For two and half hours around lunchtime, these representatives are on hand to discuss available volunteer opportunities and or permanent employment opportunities in the non-profit organization. Opportunities are available for students from all programs and majors.
The partnership between CCSJ and the Career Center illustrates the fact that full-time community service is a great career move—one that can fundamentally enhance your career preparation. In addition to economic benefits such as free housing and insurance, many of these programs offer opportunities for professional development that cannot be matched by most entry-level positions.

This year the fair was scheduled on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. in McGuire Hall, Andrew White Student Center of Loyola University Maryland. For organizations and programs that would like to participate next year, please register online.
